Following the Annual Meeting of Abano Healthcare Group Limited held on 9 November 2007, and pursuant to Listing Rule 3.3.1A, the following directors have been determined by the Abano Healthcare Group Limited board to be Independent Directors as defined in NZSX Listing Rule 1.1.2:

Alison Paterson (Independent Chairman)
Trevor Janes
Phil Newland
Susan Paterson
Graeme Edmond

The following director is not independent due to a Disqualifying Relationship as defined in NZSX Listing Rule 1.1.2:

Alan Clarke:  An executive of the Issuer Group
